• 👋 I am Koay Hong Vin. My Chinese name is 郭汯运 (Guō hóng yùn).

• 🍼 I was born in Alor Setar, Kedah.

• 👨‍🎓 I am currently doing my PhD studies at UM! I do research on autonomous driving.

• 🎓 I am a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering graduate (Session 2016/2020). CGPA: 3.97.

• 💵 I was a Yayasan Telekom Malaysia scholar.

• 🥇 I received the Prof Gray Gold Medal and University Book Prize for my graduation award.

• 🔑 I was one of the finalist for Anugerah Pelajaran Diraja and Hadiah Alumni Universiti Malaya.

• 🏆 I am also the Excellent Student Award (2019), Maxis Star of What’s Next Finalist (2018), Anugerah Tokoh Siswa (STEM) Finalist (2018), Anugerah Jasa Terbaik (KK2) (2018), Projek Harapan (BEGIN Challenge 2018) (2018), Student Icon Award (2018), etc.

• 🙆‍♂️ I am the co-founder and President of Malaya Electrical Students Association (MESA).

• 🤸‍♂️ I am one of the Pemudahcara Mahasiswa (PM) for KK2 (2017/2018).

• 🎖 I am a hackathon-freak! I won in GIG Economy Hackathon (2017), AVIATAR Hackathon (2019), Samsung GSAP (2019), AGTECH Hackathon (2019), KitaHack Hackathon (2021), and Penang Digital Hackathon (2021).

• 👕 I accumulated more than 50 T-shirt from various university events.

• 🎟 I joined almost 50 events, ranging from college event to university event.

• ⛑ I was the president for BEGIN Challenge, MESA, IEEE-UM Student Branch; vice president for iUM Disrupt.
